Some people think that governments should do more to make their citizens eat a healthy diet. Concerning about food safety, they feel that if governments don’t take actions, the illegal medicine such as Melamine, Clenbuterol and Sudan will not be forbidden. The laws, proceedings of cases, propaganda on a healthy diet from governments are all useful. Others have a point of view that eating is one’s own choice. If they want to be healthy, they will pay attention to learn more knowledge, and take actions on their conditions.
First, let’s look at what measures the government is doing. There are 26 national laws about food in China by 2015. For example, recently a butcher in Tianjin was punished by court since in 2015 and 2016 he couldn’t offer the certificate materials on the lamb he sold after being warned for many times.
